Selecting the RIGHT book...
Choosing what book to read can be a challenge. There are so many choices! When you have a list to choose from, or someone just happens to mention something they like, take some time to read about the book or ask someone. Does the subject interest you? If so, read about the book, look through it and see if it appeals to you. If you read a few paragraphs and it is completely dense, maybe it's not for you. If you follow those few paragraphs, maybe it's something you'd like to commit to. Give it a try! You will find that sometimes a book seems great, but after a while, it lacks appeal. You can always return it to the library, or, if you've bought it, set it aside for a later time. Maybe you'll come back to it. It's always a good idea to ask others about what might work for you. There are plenty of people to help out.

I read about 5 of the books called Akira. It is a graphic novel series that I am enjoying so far. It is about a kid named Kaneda who is the leader of a bike gang. His friend Tetsuo gets caught up in government secrets and he finds out that he is a super human. There are other superhumans such as Akira who was buried 30 years ago to protect the whole world. Then Akira is released and him and Tetsuo meet eachother. It is a great series and I look forward to reading the next one.
