I jumped on the Percy Jackson bandwagon late; I just finished The Lightning Thief over April vacation. I had started it last summer, but it didn't grab me. I wanted to see the movie, but I always like a book better than the movie version (well, almost always). So I finished book 1 of Percy Jackson and really enjoyed it. I went out and bought the first of author Rick Riordan's new series, The Kane Chronicles, which deals with Egyptian mythology. It's quite good; I highly recommend it. I have a few extra copies at school, so first to ask will be first to borrow my copies.
